Adopt-A-Highway !

The Spring Cleanup for 2024 was postponed for weather from last Saturday to next Saturday, May 11. As usual, we meet in the Apple Holler parking lot at 9am to get started. It’s about a four mile total walk, and much of it is very open and litter free; a great walk and a prime chance to engage in real conversation! On nice days volunteers can enjoy watching skydivers descend to the nearby Midwest Skydiving Center. It’s family friendly and a nice way to get the kids off the web for a minute and teach the importance of community service. At the end, enjoy the attractions and country goods or have a tasty meal at world famous Apple Holler! Best of all, it raises the profile of your friendly local atheists and creates fantastic exposure for the organization in front of the very popular tourist destination.
